November 18, 2014 – Portland, ME – Smithers Apex is pleased to announce the 11th edition of the Smart Fabrics & Wearable Technology 2015 conference. This year’s event will take place May 11-13, 2015 at the Hyatt Regency in the Embarcadero Center of San Francisco, CA.

“The smart fabrics and wearable technology industry has exploded into the media the past few years and we have been fortunate enough to have been there from the beginning. We’ve had attendees launch products at our event, meet investors, and future partners. Each year the room has gotten bigger and bigger and last year we had over 350 attendees joining us,” said Barbara Fowler, Conference Director, Smithers Apex.

Fowler continued on the theme of this year’s conference with “We listened to last year’s attendees who demanded more on the fusion between smart fabrics and wearable technology. This conference program, yet to debut, will bridge the gap between the two fields. The goal of this conference is to foster innovation and build collaboration between the smart fabrics professionals and the wearable technology specialists to shape superior products for the future consumer.”
